Innovation in Action: Transfer Explorer has launched and will continue to grow!

I would challenge anyone reading this to try and figure out how a course from a community college can transfer and apply to a requirement at a university. This would likely involve navigating deeply nested websites, then doing work across multiple tabs or browser windows while competing in a round of mental gymnastics. 

Enter Transfer Explorer, our recently launched credit mobility solution aimed at providing more clarity and transparency into the credit mobility process. Inspired by CUNY T-Rex, a hugely successful collaboration between Ithaka S+R and the City University of New York, “National” Transfer Explorer aims to take a broader approach. In 2025, we will continue to expand thanks to collaborations with the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities System, the City University of New York, the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, and the Washington Student Achievement Council. 

The team and I are excited to add more destination schools in the coming months and years, as we work to build the nation's first and only credit mobility platform that crosses state lines and includes clear information about how credits will not only transfer but also apply to degree requirements.
